Fabienne Hariga, Judy Chang, Monica Ciupagea

The International Network of people who Use drugs (INPUD) and the United National Office of Drugs and Crime (UNODC) co-led the development of an implementation tool that is offering practical advice on implementing HIV/HCV programmes for and with people who inject drugs (I-DUIT); aligned with UN guidance; across the full HIV services continuum, including prevention, treatment, care and support interventions. This guidance gives particular attention to programmes run in close partnership with, or by, organizations of people who inject drugs themselves.
In order to support the roll-out of the implementation guide in high priority countries, INPUD and UNODC, with the financial support of Linkages, develops a training of trainer (TOT) package to conduct training of CBOs, Non –governmental and governmental harm reduction programme managers and for sensitization of policy makers at country level.
