HRI LOI Indonesia
Harm Reduction International, the Institute for Criminal Justice Reform (ICJR) and LBH Masyarakat report to the Human Rights Committee ahead of its adoption of the List of Issues Prior to Reporting for the review of Indonesia, at its 129th Session.
The submission assesses Indonesia's satisfaction of its obligations under the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (ICCPR) as it relates to drug policy, with a specific focus on death penalty for drug offences, extrajudicial killings, torture and ill-treatment, conditions of detention in prison, compulsory drug detention and treatment, and ill-treatment in private drug detention centres.
