The city of Porto is served by a wide variety of hotels, of all shapes, sizes and prices!
As April/May is a fairly busy season in Porto, we recommend that you book your accommodation as soon as possible.

HRI would also like to recommend the Vincci Porto Hotel, which is a 14-minute walk along the river from the Alfândega.
If you are using a hotel booking site such as www.booking.com, you can search for hotels by distance from the Alfândega (search for Centro de Congressos da Alfândega do Porto, Porto, Região do Norte, Portugal).
If you would prefer the flexibility of an apartment stay, rather than a hotel, there are a huge number of options to choose from. When booking on http://www.airbnb.com, use ‘Alfândega, Porto’ as your searching point. Apartments are very reasonably priced in Porto.

When booking your accommodation, please bear in mind that the city of Porto has some steep slopes down to the river – if you have any concerns, it is recommended that you check with your hotel (before booking) that your daily journey to the venue will be manageable.
